The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said Roberts is speaking to cabinet about trade issues because he knows the Trump administration's playbook.

He knows that playbook because he was in the room when it was written.

I hope this meeting is not what it looks like on the surface.

There is no part of the heritage foundation agenda that I want to have any influence in Canada.

It already does have influence in Canada, PP and Alberta are the biggest threats because of this.

If taking to this jagoff makes it easier to deal with The Trump administration, that's a good thing. Forewarned is forearmed

I'm fortunately that's the rose coloured glasses version of this meeting though.
