Pardon my asking, but aren't wireless mice actually FASTER than corded mice? Weird to have a "latency" issue with the 602, but then have gone back to a corded instead.
Edit: Answered my own question - wireless mouse aren't faster, but they aren't any slower either, usually coming in at around 10ms of latency across a LARGE range of devices, both corded and wireless. No way in ass you're going to be able to tell the difference between a 10ms mouse and a 14ms mouse.
I also have a standing desk, so my wireless receiver is pretty far from the actual PC (on the floor, weighs too much for the desk motors). Latency issues aside, I ditched wireless because I was constantly having to swap/charge batteries in the middle of something important. I'd consider going back, as I'm sure most mice have longer battery life these years. It had "30 day" battery life, but only if you turned it off whenever it wasn't in use. It got annoying, haha.
Back in uni, I was using a 90s wooden desk with a pull-out mousepad for the g602. There was noticeable lag, which was a bit unfortunate. I only realized that after using someone's corded no-name mouse from Amazon and was amazed at how responsive it was. Ooof. Even having the receiver close didn't fix it!
