Breaking Bad and it's ~5 second intro is easily the best.

Exactly. Just a still frame title card and some interesting sound is all that necessary.

Will Trent is the best. They just insert an interesting CGI title into the moving shot, and keep going. No interruption at all.

That 3 minute opener for Game of Thrones was abusive.
