And when it comes to talking to cops, they’re literally not allowed to use anything you say to help you. What you say to a cop can only be used as evidence against you, because of weirdness about our legal system that I don’t understand but makes it obvious the whole system is fundamentally bad

I don't think that's actually true. It's just that their most concrete powers are punitive. When you only have a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
