I live in a forest, which used to be open farm fields when I was a kid. I'm actually trying to remove a bunch of trees, because my father didn't manage our property at all, except to mow a little bit of lawn around the house. It's gonna take me years to clean up my property and restore it by myself.
And yes, I'm going to keep most of the trees, but they need to be properly trimmed and maintained. They've grown in so thick, a lot of them don't get sunlight and are dying now. I just had one fall on my garage a few weeks ago and thankfully didn't cause serious damage, but it's so deep in overgrowth, I still can't get to it to cut it up and remove it.
