You cared enough to make a meme about it. Just saying.
I cared enough to copy and paste it from Reddit. Thought it was funny and that it should be in the Fediverse.
They cannot comprehend the idea of words not being 100% literal. It was just so hard to understand that your meaning was "I would've never cared that they're engaged but now that I keep hearing about it, it's annoying"
Why do people do this? "I don't care about" typically means "I have no positive feelings toward" yet some smartass always thinks they have a gotcha with "You cared enough to respond!"
OP is so burned. I mean, they expressed an annoyance by using words you could cram a crowbar in between. Great job darcDeth!
But...nobody asked OP what their opinion is on the marriage...and most people here already don't care.
They went out of their way to "make" a meme to announce how little they care. They are not frolicking carefree in an Austrian field, they are totally stewing over it lol
Ah so you're one of these people..
It's not hard. It is annoying to keep hearing about something you don't care about. Posting about that doesn't prove he actually cares that some billionaire is getting married for one of several times.
Forget about the caring vs disliking part, the fact is basically no one on Lemmy was talking about it until this post.
"I'm so tired of hearing about Celebrity that I shall add to the discourse on Celebrity by starting a thread with a crappy meme"
If it was an actually funny meme it'd be a different story but this incredibly popular opinion isn't even accompanied with a joke
In my feed there was another post about it 2 posts down. But even if there wasn't, I don't get your point. They can express annoyance on an open platform without anyone's permission or blessing
I don't think they need my permission or blessing, I just think the post sucks lol
