Why do you think my comment was about the content of the article?
Because you did write it in the commentsection to the post specifically about the article
To some extend i agree to your sentiment but it feels offtopic/disconnected to the reason behind the article
I would even argue that the likely reason why the solider survived was not the stupidity of the russian soliders but that they did not double check -> lazyness
My comment was a tongue-in-cheek remark about Russia being so incompetent that they couldn't even cut a throat correctly (and that being a good thing because he survived).
You're trying to read way too much into it. It's pretty common for comments on Lemmy to be about a situation in general rather than specific references to the posted article.
