It's because the pedophile fascist has many cryptocurrencies that he uses for robbing anyone stupid enough to buy some and for bribes.

Something like this is a way to normalize the Federal government's use of cryptocurrency, eventually leading to a Central bank digital currency so that Peter Thiel can surveil every transaction any American Citizen makes and to eleminate privacy.
