Oh it was a fine guess, I didn’t need to um ackshually you. I know my wife prefers the new recordings with Rosamund Pike over the old Michael Kramer/Kate Reading versions.
I must admit I always fall into the correcting people trap.
For what it’s worth though, RJ wrote 11 main series books and the prequel, BrandoSando wrote 3. And after reading those three I had to go read everything else BrandoSando wrote. Love that guy‘s worldbuilding and magic systems.
I don’t have a better guess. 😅
It's all good, I can see now that it was more tongue-in-cheek, I think all those years on reddit just trained me to be defensive online. Plus I like having an excuse to explain myself.
I'll admit I only made it partway through The Dragon Reborn before falling off, which is a shame because it was my dad's favorite book series.
I do love a lot of Sanderson's stuff. Do you have a favorite book/series? I just finished Isles of the Emberdark and I like the way everything is starting to connect to one another so casually while still having standalone stories!
I literally just finished Isles of the Emberdark today. Loved how Cosmere-aware it felt. Got me excited about the eventual endgame of the Cosmere.
Stormlight Archive has replaced The Wheel of Time as my favorite series, I think. WoT will always have a soft spot in my heart as my first massive hard-magic-system fantasy epic, though.
Which is your favorite?
