Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-Reddit posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.

If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

The system is called Lavendar.

This is a must-read article about it

It's harrowing as hell, but a damn good article. It's clear to see why it's still amongst 972's most read articles despite being quite a few months old now.

A side note to anyone else who reads this comment, but 972 are great for coverage of the genocide — they're based within Israel and have both Israeli and Palestinian writers. It leads to some of the best coverage that I've read on the conflict, because they have insight into Israeli politics that few others have. Many of their articles have both English and Hebrew versions, which shows that part of their goal is to challenge the apartheid and genocide from within Israel (a difficult thing to do, given how restrictive Israeli media is)

Yeah, I'm pretty upset that Abraham got an Oscar last year, but not the Pulitzer for that article
