Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I have this problem! Is there a good alternative to your majesty? ๐
Thank you "kindly" scratches the third word itch. Or depending on your flavor of southern: "I appreciate you" or its derivatives.

I will echo the other poster and say that all anyone has gotta do is CTRL+R in their minds, and replace gendered general addresses ("bro, guy, my man, me mate, girlfriend, mama, baby, girlie, gurl, woman, miss, ma'am, mister, etc, etc, etc") with the word "friend."
Easy, simple, quick, uses pathways in your brain that already exist, and it's just something that makes people feel good and included. Sure, maybe it's a generic greeting at first, but I think eventually people will actually start softening their hearts and making more random friends that way. ๐คท Nothing wrong with a little more sunshine in a world where fucking everybody feels like a puzzle piece that doesn't fit.
... alternatively if you want to invite a bit of chaos to the interaction: "pal"
