And Im challenging your assertion. First, liberalism is not right of MAGA. Second, even a government run by people like Newsom would be a safer place for trans people.
Honestly, given how much the federal government will be destroyed by then, there will probably be more regular violence and more threat of civil war. We're never going back to the stability or liberalism of the past, only an era of opportunists tearing the empire apart.
But yes, we won't be as in danger for our identity as trans people, only more in danger like everyone else will generally be.
Ill believe civil war is a thing when I see it. You cant get people on the left to agree that we should take power away from the GOP any way possible. These arent the type of people rushing out to die for each other.
And if youre speaking from a place of planned chaos: you severely underestimate the complacency of the american people.
Any non complacency will be redirected to serve power hungry separatists or unionists, just like your energy is being redirected to serve Newsom right now.
