He can be mocked. He made tragic and anti-social fashion choices. Fashion absolutely can be criticized. Fashion is a way we COMMUNICATE and the things we SAY IN PUBLIC are fair ground for criticism.

This isn't an expression of his sexuality, or his religion, or anything else that deserves a protected status. It's not like he came in the only suit he owns and people are making fun of it for being shabby. This is an expression through intentional fashion choices of his politics and his worldview. It's para-militaristic larping in public, in a professional setting, with people who don't want to play with him. And we can say that it is fucking shit. I genuinely don't understand your problem with that.
