It's not a matter of "he's probably a criminal anyway," he's something far worse that a criminal. There no "probably" about it. He's a psychopathic traitor who actively, enthusiastically attacked/ damaged/ destroyed/ stole, etc. extremely valuable and sensitive agencies and data, and he deserves life in prison.

Buy don't you see the circumstances of the situation matters? A black man being beat up by police on his way home late one night after buying diapers for his toddler, sounds pretty awful and unjust right? Well turns out it was Clarence Thomas.
