I think one of my main difficulties with flirting is I'm pretty forward and that reads as top/dominant but I wanna be the opposite and so I end up in mismatched pairings.

Lol, this got me to create an account because I realized I am the exact opposite way (ball of social anxiety, will bite you once past that), but my GF is very similar to you and she just pushes people to dominate her.
