US government wants more AI/data centres
US government doesn't want more renewable energy
US government wants expensive oil, gas and coal plants to keep running or get built
US government give no shits about water conservation or anything else environment related
US government raises taxes on any international inputs to domestic production, putting domestic industry at disadvantage
US government cuts education, climate response and health funding for future labour resilience

This is definitely a strategy that will pan out for the US...
