I think I only played the first one back in the day and wasn't impressed.

Felt like someone made a game to answer the question “what if we made Sonic but removed the stuff that makes it fun?”

I don't even like Sonic games that much, so this explains why I didn't like it 😅

It reminds me of the Gex collection, which got some praise. I remember playing Gex on the N64 and thinking the game was terrible, it was usually what you got when all the good games had already been rented. But some people will like them! And there's always a nostalgia factor if you had them when growing up I guess.
