Democrats should stand and fight back on the meme/social-media front!

I mean, they have tried... but seem physically incapable of understanding how.

The last several candidates they've presented us have been utterly contemptable in their lack of personality, passion or character. Their "meme" front has been the most inoffensive, inhuman forms of propaganda imaginable, not even remotely witty or funny.

This is a large reason Dems lose so much. They are trying too hard to appeal to milquetoast liberals and use the most inclusive, bland language possible and it rubs people as corporate slop and disingenuous "please, I will do or say anything for a vote" pandering and people see through it.

One reason Trump is so popular among a certain class of people is that he's so bad at lying that many people think he's not trying to hide it at all, and perversely enough, this makes him more human and relatable than people like Harris who have zero distinguishing characteristics. People are angry, frustrated and they want narratives. They care a lot more about a storyline than they do about if candidate X has been consistent on policy Y. It's dumb and sad but we're here because Dems think they're too good to play this game.

Newsom is BARELY crossing this threshold and could go a lot further, and would need to if he has eyes on the Iron Throne, but it's a start.

Spot on! I'll have to reread this a time or three.
