I would love to like lichess more but the chess.com UI is simply superior, IMHO. Maybe I should just use it and get used to it but I would probably lose the first dozen or so games as your starting ELO is kinda high.

1000 isn't high elo... and you have 10 games before it officially ranks you.

I think it's 1500. The placing games will make it a little less painful, true.
