My head cannon is Dales voice is suffering from the excessive smoking and all those illegal pesticides he's breathed in over the decades has messed up his voice, that's made it easier to deal with his voice being off. Khan tho, that's not Khan's voice at all, they need to stop hiring that dude for voice acting, he doesn't voice act, he just talks in his own voice. Khan is erratic and higher pitched with a heavy slathering of arrogance and humility forced together into one insane but caring dude. Khan is boring now.

Someone said Dale should have had a voice box. I completely agree compared to what was presented.

he just talks in his own voice

He's spoken about that recently in the Daily Show.

Most actors who didn't grow up speaking English take voice lessons to blend in. Ronny says losing his accent would be hiding who he is, and he's not ashamed of it.

The downside to that...

Is he's a pretty dog shit voice actor. Virtually every other actor at his level could easily throw out any number of perfect accents. Like all those English actors who speak perfect American while filming a movie. And as soon it wraps it's all "Pip pip, cheerio" and their normal voice freaks you out.

Or Stephanie Beatriz from Brooklyn 99, it's freaky different when she uses her normal voice.

Ronny is just Ronny, sometimes he's not the best fit. But he absolutely shines in the right role, even if he gets typecast because of it

The executive producer (interestingly, Bryan Singer of X-Men fame) of House, M.D. didn't know that Hugh Laurie is British until after they had started shooting.

Yeah it's frustrating, because I really like his acting, he's good at it. Give him a new character that he can make his own, a new villain for khan to have considering ted is a bit older and is now Bobby's antagonist.

I'm only shitty because Khan was one of my favourite characters, I always got excited for a Khan centered episode. But hey, considering were winging about voices not sounding right says a lot about how great the season was, like story wise and joke wise its just good old king of the hill, just a bit more of a sweary Peggy, which I 100% love.

They probably wanted to tone down Khan and make his voice more normal and bland so no one would complain that they're being racist.
