Facts?
I remember it being in the news but a bit different: there were people obviously not armed, waving white flags, approaching slowly with hands up. Still shot by IDF. This made it into international news because and only because they turned out to be hostages who either were released or escaped, we'll never know. For me this was a good demonstration how they deal with civilians and how little people care about Palestinian lives.
Yep. Had it been Palestinians waving white flags they'd probably have filed it under "human shields".
Not before capturing and tying them to the hoods of their trucks to act as literal human shields.
