Many fish are happy to be swimming and don’t want to worry about hooks coming at them.
I mean, those fish are entitled to their opinion, but need to get over the fact that most of the other fish do want at least some nice fisherman to reel them in. And given that the fishermen want the fish, and the fish want the fishermen, and there is a whole assortative matching problem going on that everyone is continuously trying to solve, the fish who don't want to get hooked should just accept that there are going to be some hooks cast in their direction sometimes, and they can just not bite them politely and move on with their lives.
Also, all metaphors break down eventually.
