Finished Marvel's Midnight Suns !

Didn't max all relationships or levels of characters, but did enough of them. The game was really good, and you get to spend lots of times outside of combat exploring the Abby and socialising with other characters.

There is some of that weird vibe from characters, if you are used to MCU versions, but you get used to it soon enough. All characters are pretty well portrayed, and voice acting is also pretty good.

Combat is pretty satisfying. I was skeptical of it at first as I am not a fan of these deck-building games, but it works out pretty well. As you are a super hero, there is no hiding behind the cover. There are some buffs and debuffs, but you have to be careful about using it too. Since every turn enemy reinforcement join the fight. Most of these are usually "minions" which mean they are one hit kill, but since you are limited to 3 cards / actions per turn, you have to play pretty aggressively. And there were a few levels where the enemy combination make this very annoying. Thankfully, those are very few.

Overall, loved the game. May come back to it to try the "dark" path in a few years.

Cleared the 5th world / level of Donkey Kong Bananza on to 6th one now. About halfway done with this too.

Too many thorns here though.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

I played some more Donkey Kong Bananza. I think I'll finish the post game stuff, it's still really fun!

I tried the demo for Shinobi and enjoyed it. I won't get the full game though. It looks amazing, but I feel like I've played it before, as in played games that were kind of similar maybe.

I also tried the demo for Mina the Hollower. The graphics and sound are really cool, but also not getting this one for now. If I have nothing to play some time from now I might revisit them. But I doubt I'll have nothing to play πŸ˜…

I got Cyberpunk 2077 delivered today, so I'll be playing that on the weekend. I've only just created my character and barely started the story. Never thought I'd see genitals in a game on a Nintendo console πŸ˜‚

Oh I love Cyberpunk 2077! The atmosphere is fantastic, the story is good, and the game play reminds me of immersive sims with a lot of choices to complete tasks if you pay attention and take advantage of the movement implants. Enjoy choom!

Thanks! I've only played a couple of hours so far, and it's pretty immersive, I'm really liking it.

Have you tried Ninja Gaiden Ragebound yet?

Mina the Hollower has 120FPS mode for Switch 2, might be interesting to see 120fps on Switch πŸ˜€

Looking forward to your weekly updates on Cyberpunk 2077!

I haven't tried Ninja Gaiden, but it looks great too. It doesn't have a demo though :(

Probably the game that needs 120fps the least 🀣
