It doesn't work for either of you if the other person is aware of the curse.

This one is mild(er) than that story, because physical harm doesn't work.

Ha ha ha ha. Didn't see that coming. Keep in mind, they'll be immortal, too. When humanity has died off or changed into something else, it'll just be you and the other commenters until you give up, are killed (if possible), or witness the death of the universe.

Hmmm I'll have to pick who I bless with hurting their feelings.

I'm starting with going around telling all my friends and family I don't like their haircut or that they look a little rounder.

It's for their own good, I'll make it up to them later.

It buys them a few extra seconds. The magnitude of the benefits is proportional to the hurt.
