An overly tidy house is often a sign of imbalance, ahem. 😜
What does a cronically untidy house say, oh wise one?
depression
Could be ADHD or anxiety too. Possibly OCD as well.
I guess my point is that 'mental illness' is more succinct.
Quite frankly I'm just lazy. I've always hated picking up my things and I've struggled with organization since I was a child. I think with me...my parents never really got on me about being neat and organized. So I never got into the habit. Still turned out fine! It just means I frantically clean before people come over lol.
So I got depression, adhd, anxiety and ocd. Thank you, internet strangers!
That term doesn't include healthy, "normal" imbalances, though, and I didn't want to nonchalantly vilify the neurodivergent — much less perpetuate related stigmas. 🥲🤌🏼
Nah, I'm just lazy.
What happened to the old fashioned "you're a slob/slacker"?
Why does everything needs to automatically point to some sort of affliction? That is worrisome.
Worrying over internet comments is a sure sign of anxiety, possibly OCD, maybe even PTSD if there’s a particular trigger.
Oh, you sound healthy AF.
Thank you?
what kind of imbalance do you mean?
Says the person who is on lemmy + db0
(Not meant to be mean)
You can't even make a personal attack thematically relevant? Eesh. You might wanna look into strengthening your Delete Draft reflex a bit more...
