I worked in a hospital that didn't give paid sick leave for lower level employees until they'd been there for a year.

A hospital.

A sick person collection facility.

And, of course, because they have a profit motive, they can't even offer employees discounts on care or whatever because they have a conflict of interest in providing employee care by being for profit.
