The Moomins is a franchise created by finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson. It features a vast amount of comics, TV series, movies, books and games, telling various stories mostly set in moominvalley.

OMG it IS Little My's sister!
IIRC she ends up with the moomin valley police chief.
Er, well, she could be THE Mymble, in which case she it Little Mys mother, but that makes less sense with Moomin already being born and well on his way to growing up.
