I'm pretty sure they're all basically full grown right now. They're all outdoors to reacclimate themselves and get stronger. I'm hoping the crows will be free soon.
The raven was closer to free a few weeks ago, but he reinjured himself and got moved to a different spot. It's shy, but it's no wimp, so I'm hopeful it gets better. I always try to make its meal with even more care because I'm rooting for it so much!
That's fascinating! The beaks look oversized, but maybe that's because of the angles of the shots?
That you take extra time for the wounded speaks so much to your kindness and character. I know that wasn't your intention with saying so, but you can't hide that light, even if you tried!
You'll be married soon! In some weird internet way, I feel we've grown together, and am rather fond of you, your hobby, your family. Like a sibling I've never met, IRL. I'm so happy and excited for you!
I don't know, everything about that bird is big! I'm more intimidated by the raven than the owls and hawks. I stay on my toes around that crafty corvid brain! 🤨
Animals have always captivated me, and I'm glad to give back care to them for all the joy I've gotten watching them in the wild. They're all fascinating in their own ways, and they all have important jobs in our local environment.
I'm always happy to see your comments and positive support for what I share. I hope I continue to live up to deserving it. I just try to be the best me I can be. My girlfriend and I have both come a long way from the people we used to be. Our strengths compliment each other well, and while we've annoyed each other plenty, we've always been able to give each other unwavering support. I think we're pretty darn good together. 😁
I'll keep sharing all the good stuff with you as long as you hang around!
He'll be bringing you all shiny things in thanks, before long. Maybe even some prey! And maybe his offspring, too, from what I've read.
Shine on, crazy diamond!
I'm happy to support you and yours. You have no idea how much joy you've brought to me, over the miles. I'll show up as long as I'm able! And if that stops, just know I'll be thinking of you fondly, sending best wishes across the distance.
If you aren't occasionally annoying each other, my guess is you're not growing, either because you've grown into a more mature place if acceptance, or because of refusal to keep working out the kinks. God willing, it will be the former, and you'll have a lifetime of creating and building the world you want to see, both at home and in your community. I can't wait for wedding and honeymoon photos!
