Are we checking? This is a place to take a p*ss out of motorsports.
F1 is not the only motorsport in the world, so go ahead and post your shitposts about WEC or MotoGP or IndyCar or ralley or Polish Speedway or whatever. Even Formula E, I guess. It needs some love, too.
By the way, F2 > F1.

Did they mention what issue it was that he was having?
Ferrari
just did in the interview. he mentioned car chassis issue.
Yeah but that's really weird right? Like he was super fast in the beginning of the race and then all of a sudden the speed was gone. And Leclerc knew it was going to be so before his last pitstop, he was already talking about the "issues" then and said he would find a way to deal with them.
How would that be related to the chassis, it doesn't change from one stint to the next? Commentary was talking about front wing angle, but that seems weird as well.
I was thinking something with the fuel, like they underfueled the car to be faster in the race. But then in the end he needed to really preserve fuel, so lots of lift and coast and turn down the harvesting, so deployment would be minimal. I'm not sure however, that doesn't really seem to fit as well.
Something weird is going on at Ferrari, with Hamilton also mentioning issues behind the scenes.
Georges mentioned something about the tires pressure to play with the height. I don’t think the fuel is about that. And in the post race interview he seems more calm and accepting that it was a new car related issue apparently.
Right, like they setup the car too low to the ground, which helped the speed a lot but could wear out the plank too much? So the last stint they gave him a higher tyre pressure, which ruined the speed but would prevent any more plank wear from that point on. And Leclerc was maybe thinking he could just stay off the kerbs and such to save the plank? You certainly don't want to win the race and then get a DSQ like Russell had because the plank was too thin.
Yeah and George alluded that maybe there were something else that they might not say in case of DSQ. But yeah too bad for Leclerc that was refreshing to have a team going faster than the McLaren.
Must be the water.
