Oh I like Beak very much. A similar sort of instant composing (or maybe low-level composing in this case) as discussed earlier. The low recording quality is sometimes tough, but the tracks are (almost) always interesting. Uncut gems.

Geoff Barrow used to be the other half of Portishead btw. Going lo-fi after that success is a genuine Fuck You to the music industry.
