Or... One of the primary reasons decentralized cryptocurrency was invented
Cryptocurrency can't handle this amount of transaction. Also, it's so much power hungry. We need something lightweight and powerful.
It sounds like you're conflating Bitcoin with cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is power hungry. Not all crypto is proof-of-work, and actually, most aren't. Not all crypto has insane transaction fees, that's mostly a Bitcoin thing. These are massive issues with Bitcoin which is why I'm surprised anyone still values Bitcoin at all.
As long as bitcoin's price dictates the rest of other coins' prices, it won't matter that there are "better" coins. Whenever bitcoin has a surge or a big drop, every other coin follows.
I heard monero is the one that’s used to purchasing instead of trading. Like for VPN’s and such.
Its primarily interacted with through centralized brokers and never treated as a currency.
how's that fascist boot taste shit licker?
bruh keep this twitter-style discourse over on twitter, or why are you even here.
then keep the cryptoshit on Reddit.
How exactly is moving away from centralized, controlled infrastructure "fascist"?
because cryptocurrency has been used as a method of laundering money to fascist groups for over a decade.
and so were guns and trains, that doesn't make them fascist either
you're supporting something that Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Donald Trump want to make the new currency?
last time I checked any time any one of those pieces of shit supported something it was bad for anyone that wasn't "on the team" if you catch my drift.
just wanted to make sure I knew who I was conversing with here...
I support the idea of an alternative to the centralized currency, not any specific one
