I usually am annoyed by this self censoring bs but in this instance it feels like it's a meta joke on exactly this behavior.

I don't know it just seems too on the nose, the ancient "expand the list" joke framework, picking a word that would become unintelligible when properly censored, then using the lazy censoring, censoring the first ass but leaving the second one untouched.

I am honestly not sure if it's a joke or not, but it feels like one.

Edit: maybe I just wanted it to be a meta joke, because the "expand the list" thing has run its course for me by now. Seeing it with the censoring removed makes it less funny for me, like a minions meme or something
