Billionaires don’t pay poverty wages by accident. They know the more desperate we are, the more we’ll work ourselves sick to afford food and rent. Hunger, debt, and housing insecurity aren’t side effects, these are the weapons of billionaires. Organize. Disrupt. Demand more.
The truth of the matter is that Trump has no intention to fix this.
In fact, the opposite is true. His next step was to cover it up by firing the person in charge of the data. He can and will likely install a loyalist who manipulates the numbers to serve his story but job losses don’t lie. People are being impacted. Lives are being affected. No amount of political maneuvering will hide those facts. We’ve settled for things being half measures when it’s possible to have more than empty promises. It’s time for us to not just ask but demand more from our elected officials. Tomorrow we make those demands heard.

Why would he? Everything works exactly as intended. They'll engineer another crash and buy up all the assets for cheap. And the plebes will be begging to be allowed to work for a pittance.
