A community for some conservative points of view. You can comment but not post articles, because there are bad-faith posters who want to post horrible content just to get people in trouble.

Oh I don't hate Lemmy, I'm laughing at Lemmy. When Trump one I specifically too the day off of work just to watch everyone on Lemmy cry. Even tho they were warned that Trump could win, they were soooooo blinded by the Dem party they thought there was no chance they could lose.
All of you on Lemmy thought you knew so much more than middle america, people who had different opinions than you. Then ya got a reality check.

You all deserved it for hating on people who had different opinions than you. Maybe instead of instantly yelling "fascist" and "Nazi" at anyone who didn't love Biden/Harris, you should have been a little more decent to people.

You took a day off from work (which you retired early from) because you wanted to watch a social network you don't hate melt down and get what they deserve?

There was a guy who was obsessed with me. He’d make throwaway accounts just to try to post Nazi content in my communities, hoping he could then report it to the admins and say, “Look! This community allows Nazi stuff—ban the mod!”
I’ve seen the same thing happen in other conservative communities too.
One in particular got completely hijacked. The original mod went on vacation, and during that time, someone planted Nazi posts in the community. Since the mod wasn’t around to delete them, an admin stepped in, removed him, and handed the community over to someone who was openly anti-conservative. That person turned it into a meme community. The person who did all that in order to take away the community was openly proud of what he did and laughed about it.
The original mod came back and found his community wasn’t his anymore. All because of content that was clearly planted to get him removed.
So way easier to avoid that riff-raff and just limit people who could post. Lemmy has lots of weirdo stalkers who get really worked up over people who have different opinions than them.
Serial downvoting is finally starting to be frowned on by more and more Lemmy mods and admins. Feel free to do a search for serial downvoting and see how many mods are doing that. I didn't invent the strategy. More and more communites are doing that, and I followed their example.
Do you really think I care? If I'm just "Lemmy's jester," then no harm in letting me do my thing, right? Right?! See how that works? You have nothing to be upset about. I'm just a little unknown jester. If I don't have any effect on Lemmy, then no reason for you to care what I post.
Yep! And it's glorious. Do you think you're saving Lemmy by trying to call me out? Nothing you are doing or saying is making me change my mind. Besides, I am nothing "more than Lemmy’s jester." So no problem, right?
Then you tried to imply that the Daily Mail wasn't doing well. So I gave you figures, showing that it is. So all you your frustration towards the Daily Mail, has done nothing to stop them. They are making millions. And all of your frustration has done nothing to stop me. I'm having an awesome time! I love Lemmy!
I've even sent posts to the Daily Mail in the hopes that they come here and report on how extremest and angry Lemmy is all the time. Wouldn't that be awesome to have more people take a look at Lemmy and see what all the extreme people here do and say?
Feel free to make your own community though! Lemmy needs more content.
