If I'm lucky I won't have to work today.

This is a daily post for “casual” conversation. If you want to post or talk about something non autism related this is where to do it. For example if you want to info dump about your special interest but it doesn’t fall into “autism related” then you can post it here in the comments. Fingers crossed you get the day off /gen

Enjoying some positives this week - finally getting over some bug I’ve had since Sunday, working on renewing one of my work certs and ordered a new game controller coming in the mail sometime next week.

I’m excited to have a dedicated controller for PC/emulators since I lost my Steam Controller dongle years ago and it’s a pain to pair my JoyCons regularly (first-world problem I’m grateful to have).

My head is still spinning from it being August already. That might just be part of getting older, though.

What do you plan to do today if you end up having it free? (If you feel comfortable sharing, of course)

I'm trying to get over a mental hurdle, so I can go to get my driver's license renewed. Failing that probably catching up on some shows, playing my penny whistle, and playing Baldurs gate. And then grocery shopping this evening.
