No, what's sad is jumping in on the Movies community, seeing a standard story that is on topic, and taking a big old tangential Marxist shit.
To be clear, if you came in with any other socio-political perspective, with the same piss-poor attitude, I would be taking the piss out of you in an identical fashion.
It is you personally and specifically, that is the problem.
Blah blah blah capitalist blah blah means of production blah blah blah proletariat blah blah blah while you enjoy the bread and circuses of pumped out remakes and sequels.
You should have just stuck with criticizing audiences for accepting rehashes of the same stuff. That would be still poo-pooing the story, but at least pertains to movie making and movie watching.
Can you identify any tangible loss on my part if you were to block me? Would I notice if you hadn't announced this?
