Remember when China did this?
Whilst I agree that the FBI opening an office here is bad.
This is in no way similar to what happened with the Chinese situation. Other than they are both "police" forces.
The Chinese situation was not a public opening; or even a low key one organised with our government. It was an extension of the Chinese surveillance state; not welcome here, as we didn't officially know about it.
I don't think it is a good idea for us to be allowing the FBI to setup offices here; it is being run out of their embassy...so they can kinda do what they want there.
