Normalized and accepted violence against women. Known as the "rape capital of the world."

Illegal to be LGBT.

I'm not sure, but are you confusing ROC with DROC? I know The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the absolute worst when it comes to corruption.

As someone who's worked a bit in ROC I seriously doubt they've got an issue with child soldiers. I don't think they're the rape capitol of the world either. You will meet corrupt government officials at the airports and so, but not even remotely as bad as their neighbour
