I don't know how to feel about this. Octopath 1 and 2 aren't really related in any way, so seeing a prequel with all characters appearing in the end just seems like unnecessary overcomplication. I would have rather had Octopath 3, but I'll wait for more inormation.
me too. I remind me a bit on the mobile game or do they even have some similarities (like 8 char battles?). If you want a game with to much chars play the gacha game. So why is this game done? has it a decent story, but there are to mach characters? I need to look more into it to decide later

My naming problem is going to be if they try to release Octopath Traveler II 0. From the mobile game, they should have enough for story pack DLCs to cover the second game (and from the $50 price of the game I’ve seen, they might be leaning in that direction).
