How was your day?
I just did my regular work thing—
Punched in, punched out.

Hope you’re enjoying your steak,
This dinner is great.

How are things in Wisconsin?
Still cold?
It’s the same predictable thing here,
Nothing changes.

But being here with you—
Even if away—
Makes it worth it.
