Sorry to ruin the meme (which I found funny), but shouldn't the lever thingy of the grenade be out?
The lever thingy is called the spoon, and in reality it is spring loaded so heavily that there are two rather major caveats with this (trust internet pedantry to come along and ruin everything):
There is no way the bird would have the strength be able to pull the pin out, since the spring force exerted on the spoon also wedges it against the pin, which is what keeps the pin from being snagged and pulled out accidentally.
If the bird did manage to get the pin out anyway, with the spoon resting on the ground like that the spring force would be sufficient to pop the grenade several inches off the ground when it pinged off and probably yeet that one ounce bird clear into the bushes in the process.
Regarding point 1, QI once mentioned this. I tried to find it on YouTube but couldn't. Basically they said that even for humans, pulling the pin out with your teeth isn't really feasible, it requires too much force and your teeth/jaw can't handle it.
