Stevia is not

Ok, yes, Stevia by itself is not, but most forms... could be? Maybe one isn't entirely? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebiana

As opposed to fucking table sugar that's picked as sugar cubes from the tree?

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yes! As sugar is a substance found in nature in opposition to the synthetic ones, which exclusively originate from a lab

Which is the definition of natural…

[–] kameecoding@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Sugar is found as sugar cane not the fucking white crystals you put in your food, also the definition of what you are talking about is the appeal to nature fallacy, Death Caps are also found in nature btw, wouldn't recommend eating them.

Dude I understand some parts of the world have substandard education system, but can you be bothered to look up what you are spouting?

The sugar in the sugar cane is the same sugar as in the pack, the procedures are to remove everything else! In opposition to other artificial sweeteners; not including stevia app, as they are not found in nature; which cannot originate from any other source than that of a lab

And what if you didn’t make things up?

<“…Natural substances are materials found in nature that have not been significantly altered or created by human intervention. They exist in the environment and can include things like minerals, plants, animals, and their components… (https://foundershield.com/insurance-terms/definition/naturally-occurring-substances/)
