I didn't say they never elected a republican before. I said they're not going to elect one. And specifically what I mean is this cycle, so not this guy. Can't rule it out they'd win again someday.

Edit: also worth mentioning Arnold Schwarzenegger is a beloved movie star while this nobody is threatening to recreate concentration camps
