"Few creatures of the night have captured our imagination like vampires.
What explains our enduring fascination with vampires? Is it the overtones of sexual lust, power, control? Or is it a fascination with the immortality of the undead?"
Feel free to post any vampire-related content here. I'll be posting various vampire media I enjoy just as a way of kickstarting this community but don't let that stop you from posting something else. I just wanted a place to discuss vampire movies, books, games, etc.

This would be pretty terrifying to experience. I haven't seen the 2023 film The Last Voyage of the Demeter, but reading this, it's easy to see how someone could make a horror film out of just these few log entries.
I did see the Netflix adaptation of Dracula. Or the first two out of three episodes, at least; the second of which was based loosely on these logs. It was just a total mess though and I can't recommend it.
In a way, it reminds me of Christie's novel And Then There Were None / Ten Little Niggers and the popular nursery rhyme from 1869, Ten Little Niggers, which inspired it.
The Demeter episode was my favourite of the series. But yeah. Overall wouldn’t recommend.
I think the first was my favourite, based purely on the fact that episode 2 was bad enough that I decided not even to bother watching episode 3. But neither episode I saw did much to recommend it.
