The Majestic and The Number 23 were his best movies and also the ones he hated making.

Recently did a rewatch of The Number 23 after watching The Cable Guy for the first time with my partner. In my memory, I gave The Number 23 a 7/10… on a rewatch, it’s maybe a 5/10. It’s pretty good, but nowhere near as good as it was in my memory.

The Cable Guy was great, in retrospect.

True, but his Grinch performance may have caused the abomination that was Mike Meyers Cat in the Hat, so I'm taking away half a point.
