I’m wavering on getting rid of this tv. Maybe I could get a PS2 off eBay as they play dvds too. I regret getting rid of my old one.
But then I’d have to find games and dvds I wanted to play/watch and find a non-awkward place to put it. I’m trying to pare my possessions down dammit
Hi Melb, if it’s something you’ll enjoy, and within budget, just do it! I’ve noticed sometimes you mention a thing you’d like to do or activity to try, but the in the next sentence defeat yourself already, finding a reason why it won’t work out. No judgment, it’s just something I’ve noticed because I have the exact same thought spiral myself sometimes. Remind yourself you are allowed nice things. You can do something nice for yourself and don’t feel doom over it. Is the tv not working or not able to connect/stream/function the way you need it? Maybe some of the smart folk here can help! Or maybe it’s time for it to be replaced? There are some basic cheap tvs out there, or try second hand. Unless you specifically want to play games, you can buy a basic dvd player for about $40.
I bought it for the built in dvd player but that doesn’t seem to work. I thought the PS2 might be a good double function
