so proud ๐ช Was hoping to head up to Bowen but unfortunately it's just a bit too far:
I drove back from Cairns to Victoria point in one hit once. 22 hours I think. Ex wife drove all of 90 minutes of it. Only stopped for fuel. I was quite a Zombie by the time we got back. Do not recommend, would not do again.
wow! I've done Melbourne - Townsville in two days but that was with two drivers. And I thought that was bonkers
Well that certainly was bonkers I agree.
I've done Melbourne to Brisbane over two days and that was me driving a four Cylinder four speed Holden Sunbird. That was in 1998 before lots of the motorways were built ( I think, or at least bypasses )
Oh no! Not even the six cylinder full Torrie UC? Not awesome. I have done a lot of miles in an old sandman and that was made for highways
Well I had just got back from travelling Africa for five months so it was a breeze in comparison. But yeah I heard you. And nice, a Sandman. Betcha wish you still had that baby.
Yeah it was mighty.
