It kind of makes sense when you're growing short of prime age servicepeople. The older ones can do things like logistics and other behind the lines jobs, to free up the younger forces for combat.

It sucks that they have to do this though.

there are some seniors who would mop the floor with young ones. they gonna rip putin in half.

Defos. To be crude; they have less to lose as well. If I was that age and my country was being invaded I would certainly sacrifice myself to save the younger people.

Oh yeah, I'm back in college for a career change in my early forties, and I see the difference in world experience and cunning that I have, compared to even the most intelligent and wise early 20 something. Use each asset to the best of their ability.

I’m getting a masters in my mid thirties with a cohort mostly in their early twenties and I completely agree with you. I wrote a whole thing, but it really seemed like bragging. It’s incredibly obvious to me that the difference is just time, so I don’t feel pride in it. They’ll get there.

Just another example of the wisdom that age can bring, if you're open to learning. You don't brag about what anyone can achieve.

May you have continued success in all your endeavours.
