I looked up Aeroflot as I did not know how big of a player it is in Russia, but its full name is "Aeroflot - Russian Airlines". Kinda gives away what the size of this is.

I'd say it's comparable to, let's say, Air France for France for example.

Also, reading the Reuters' comments of the Russian spokeperson, oh how the turn tables.
