tl;dr: Almost certainly not.

“There is no way I would have made it to one of the farther hospitals, if it wouldn’t have been here. Her airway just would have closed off, and I probably would have been doing CPR on my daughter on the side of the road,” recalled Cunningham, a nurse who sits on the hospital’s board.

All else aside, it's concerning that a top nurse thinks that CPR would help with an airway that is entirely blocked. Okay, you got the heart beating, so now the kid can die again.
